Our Story

From a Vision to a Movement

Ascend Consulting Uganda was founded in 2014 by a group of passionate coaches who saw a gap in Uganda's professional development landscape. Talented individuals were advancing in their careers without the structured support they needed to truly thrive.

Starting with a small office in Kampala's Nakasero neighbourhood and a handful of individual clients, we quickly grew as word spread: our coaching worked. People got promotions, businesses grew, and communication improved — not because we gave generic advice, but because we listened deeply and personalised everything.

Today, Ascend is one of Uganda's most respected coaching and consulting firms, with a team of 14 certified coaches, offices in Kampala and Jinja, and a client base spanning government, NGOs, private sector organisations, and individual professionals.

2014
Founded in Kampala

Launched with 3 coaches and 12 individual clients in a shared office space in Nakasero, Kampala.

2016
First Corporate Partnership

Signed our first corporate training contract, delivering communication skills workshops for 60+ employees.

2019
ICF Accreditation

Became Uganda's first ICF-accredited coaching firm, setting a new benchmark for professional coaching standards.

2022
East Africa Expansion

Extended services to Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania, forming the East African Coaches Alliance.

2026
500+ Clients Milestone

Celebrated transforming over 500 professionals and launching our digital coaching platform for remote clients.
