Yes. Ascend Consulting Uganda is one of East Africa's few coaching firms accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). We are also a member of the Professional Coaches and Consultants Institute (PCCI) and comply with all relevant Ugandan professional service regulations. Our coaches hold internationally recognised certifications at various ICF levels.

Our main office is in Nakasero, Kampala, with a second location on Jinja Road. We also offer fully online coaching via secure video call for clients across Uganda and the wider East Africa region — including in Gulu, Mbarara, Kabale, Arua, and beyond. Remote sessions are equally effective as in-person coaching for most programmes.

Most individual coaching programmes run between 3 and 6 months, with sessions typically held fortnightly or monthly. Some clients choose shorter, focused programmes of 6–8 weeks for specific goals (e.g., preparing for a job interview or an important presentation). Corporate programmes are designed based on organisational needs and can range from single-day workshops to multi-month engagement.

Absolutely. All coaching sessions are completely confidential. We adhere strictly to the ICF Code of Ethics on confidentiality. In corporate sponsorship situations, we always agree the confidentiality framework upfront with all parties, and we never disclose session content to employers without the client's explicit written consent.

Many clients report meaningful insights and small shifts from their very first session. Observable behavioural changes typically emerge within 4–6 weeks of starting a programme. Deeper transformations — particularly in leadership style, career trajectory, or professional confidence — usually become fully evident over 3–6 months. Results depend significantly on your engagement level and willingness to apply what you learn between sessions.

Our individual coaching programmes start from UGX 350,000 per month (Starter package — 2 sessions/month). Our most popular Professional package is UGX 650,000/month (4 sessions/month), and our Executive package is UGX 1,200,000/month (unlimited sessions). We accept Mobile Money (MTN and Airtel), bank transfer, cash at our Kampala office, and card payments via our online payment portal. We also offer flexible payment plans for multi-month programmes — just ask during your discovery call.

Yes — many of our clients are sponsored by their organisations. We provide proper invoicing and confidentiality frameworks that allow employers to invest in their staff's development while ensuring the coaching conversation itself remains private. Yes — corporate engagements are a significant part of our work. We design and deliver bespoke leadership development programmes, communication skills workshops, team coaching, and executive coaching for organisations across Uganda's private sector, public service, and NGO community. Our corporate team is led by Robert Wasswa and can design programmes for groups of 5 to 100+ participants.

Standard corporate workshops can be designed and delivered within 2–3 weeks of confirming your booking. Comprehensive multi-month leadership programmes typically require 4–6 weeks of design and scoping. We recommend contacting us as early as possible so we can ensure the programme is properly tailored to your organisation's culture, goals, and team.
